Due Date
In my opinion the movie Due Date was very disappointing. After seeing Zach Galifianakis in the Hangover I expected it it be a pretty funny movie. Zach was very funny in the hangover and played a great role. This was the first movie I had ever saw him in and was impressed by his performance. His co-star Robert Downey jr. was also disappointing. Recently Robert was in the Iron Man movies which were very successful. I liked the movies a lot and he was very entertaining in his role as iron man.
It was not so much the acting but the plot. It was very predictable and unrealistic. You could tell what was going to happen way before it did. About a half hour into the movie when you find out they are going to travel together you know what is going to happen. There were three things that you could predict extremely easy. They were going to get in a fight, get in an accident and Robert was going to leave Zach. Their have been many similar movies in the past such as Planes Trains and Automobiles and Tommy boy.
I will admit that it had a couple of funny parts but as a whole it was disappointing. If you watch the preview then you will see all of the funny parts. I recommend watching the preview and getting a couple laughs but not going to the theater and wasting your money.
